Her Intuition’s Magic, Her Confidence is Tragic
The only real valuable thing is intuition. -Albert Einstein.
I was listening to Colette Baron Reid talk about how our psychic abilities develop. Sometimes these abilities come from a stressful event. Colette experienced a sexual assault that changed her life. She then became psychic and has now been doing readings for over 20 years. Don Miguel, author of The Four Agreements, came from a family of shamans and was in a car accident when he fell asleep at the wheel and hit a concrete wall. He remembers he was not in his physical body when he pulled his two friends to safety. After-wards, he dedicated his life to shamanism and his grandfather teaches him in his dreams. Carol Ritberger, a medical intuitive went through two near death experiences in her car then ended up in the hospital after eating something that caused her heart to stop. She remembers seeing herself floating above her body and later after the doctors brought her back she was able to see auras around every living organism. She also describes herself as a human cat scan and sees patterns of energy that tell her when something is wrong in the body. A couple of years ago I developed this ability myself but ignored it until I met a friend who told me that I was a medical intuitive. I knew this but was not confident to share it with others. Some are born with a gift and later they are developed further through practice. I remember psychic medium Elizabeth Baron of Charleston S.C. telling me in a reading once 20 years ago that I was very psychic. I didn’t really think about it too much until I started experiencing it about 13 years ago when my father died. It is like anything else, you can have talent and see signs of it, but until you decide to understand and develop these gifts, it will remain dormant. Mine have come about through personal and health related stress. It seems that over the years as I went through different life events such as my father passing away, struggling to paint and become an artist, having a health problem and dealing with family issues, I have become more intuitive. I had a blog about 2 1/2 years ago, but was not ready. Now it seems it is the right time and my intuitive abilities have shifted to become clearer and more focused. Just today I was having new stronger insights and they came quicker and clearer. I write ideas that feel like they are channeled through me … and truthfully they are. I have thoughts that run through my mind that are from my higher self. Colette Baron Reid stated in her utube video these insights come from a “different part of your brain”. My brain was rewired and I felt this over the last 10 years. I feel grateful to have these intuitive thoughts and want to use them. For example, I was thinking about my older sister and picking up bits and pieces of her thoughts about her life. I don’t have in depth conversations with her however, I know where she is at in her spiritual growth and what she needs to grow through my intuition. I also know minor things about who will come over today or who will be sick. The thoughts flow from the right side of my brain. My own thoughts are different than my psychic thoughts. I have learned to differentiate between my ego and emotional thoughts and my intuitive thoughts with practice especially when intuitive thoughts repeatedly come true over and over. I tune into them just like tuning into a radio station. Very often they come on demand! Being a sensitive, everything seems amplified. My confidence can become tragic, so to speak. I was watching a show on psychic teenagers and this young teen was talking to psychic medium Chip Coffey. He explained when she hears a noise, to her a leaf falling to the ground is like a door slamming loudly. Imagine how it is for me to hear kids at school throw their books on the floor-a common practice. It was extremely loud! Many times when I worked at school I wore earplugs because I could not handle how loud the students were.
I often listen to Mona Lisa Schultz, the psychic doctor on talk radio. She mentioned that people who are medical intuitive’s are moody, and usually have a health problem. It was a relief to hear this because I do get moody and have to work on balance. I was also born under the astrological sign of Cancer. Sensitive and moody are common traits of the crab, along with being motherly. If you listen to Dr. Mona Lisa on Hayhouseradio.com you will hear her talk about herself and how anxious she can get going to an event to speak with others. It reminds me of the absent minded professor or the artist whose mood can change in a brush stroke-yet they have gifts.
I hope this post helped you understand more about what an intuitive experiences in their lives and how they developed their abilities. The creative energy can be intense as the universe brings in the new and releases the old. More importantly, in today’s world there are strong vibrational shifts happening.Hold on because we are in a transient time of intense change. Stay grounded and enjoy the ride.
Love and Light,
Deborah
