The magic of the Northern Lights

While with a group of people discussing transcending victimization, I awakened to a new level again.  What happens when we are feeling a loss or feeling a wound in our lives? You have been knocked down yet again by the cosmos and it feels like you are in boxing match of your life.

In a 12 step program the main purpose is to grow spiritually to overcome problems. What I am referring to as the 13th step is not discussed in a 12 step program. The 13th step is about letting your spirit soar. Alleviating yourself from the actual problems and seeing what god or the universe can do for you on another level. I believe most structure in religions and self-help programs like a 12 step group stay at one level discussing the problem over and over.

What if you are seeing a whole new level? I am talking about the possibility of becoming in tune with a realm that you have not been able to access before. I have had a few people ask me about talking to their relatives who have passed away.Seeing them in a dream may be easier at first then actually having them show up. Beyond all the problems and pain that you experience is a place of magic. You are not here to be a “muggle” as in the Harry Potter books. A muggle  refers to a person who lacks any sort of magical ability and was not born into the magical world.Fortunately, Harry was able to answer the call to his destiny and fulfill his purpose as a wizard.

You are here to wake up to a new consciousness.The chaos you are experiencing large or small is here to alert you to a new way of thinking.I have found that traditional religion and groups were never enough for me. I felt limited and trapped. I know now that all of the experiences I have had were to shift my thinking to greater heights. I still keep myself in the real world yet able to access something more. The spirit has a way of encouraging us to follow its leads.Often this is through upheaval and storms until we are able  understand the next step.

The book Jonathon Livingston Seagull is a story about a humble seagull who decides to leave the flock. He wants to rise above the trash eating, ordinary seagulls who remain complacent with the rest. Jonathon wants to soar and decides to fly higher and higher to new levels while the flock question his actions.You may be feeling this call to rise above yourself. You may be in the cosmic boxing ring for a reason because spirit is calling you to leave. There are new levels for you. New freedom and thinking that goes beyond the flock.

Would you like to dream of a deceased relative? Would you like to have synchronicities align up for you making your life meaningful and easier?Believe, Believe, Believe!I have been experiencing a higher realm since I was 28 years old. However, I have moments when I was a child that I knew I was in tune with the other side.I didn’t realize this until I was in my 30′s because I wasn’t conscious of it.

If we openly and willingly invite spirit, the universe or the  god of our understanding to show us what we can do to hear the call rather than experience the pain of denial then we can be the magic our hearts our yearning for.

If you have been trying to reach your decreased grandmother it is probably because she has been trying to reach you. Sometimes it is simple events that show up such as craving the food she may have loved or finding a picture you haven’t seen in years.Being conscious, releasing doubt, following clues and hunches and asking will create a 13th step experience. I believe everyone has had some kind of mystical, magical experience.What is yours?
