In the Harry Potter movies there is a scene where Harry is leaving to Hogwarts and has to go through a wall at Platform 9 3/4 to get to his destination at Hogwarts.He walks through this brick wall easily and comes out to board a train on the other side. This photo was taken in London to remember the movie we all loved.When Harry answered the call  to become a wizard he was following his dharma.

Dharma  is the possessing of a certain ability, power, and spiritual strength.It is the unique combination of spiritual brilliance and skill.I believe Harry taught us all a little about following our path at all costs. Through his trials and tribulations, he then became a beloved and famous wizard.

With the New Year here in  2010 we can know that our dharma is waiting  for us.I believe we all our wizards and have the ability to perform magic.Maybe you don’t know a card trick or how to levitate like Criss Angel, but there is some ability you have that would let your spirit soar. We each have this. It is a  gift to us for being human.We can make it our goal to seek it out and learn how to use it.

I am excited that the year is 2010. The number 10 has significance because it means “completeness of order, nothing lacking, and nothing over”.The cycle is complete and  everything is in place.Therefore it represents “perfection of divine order”.

So many of us have ideas rolling around inside of what we want to do in our lives. With the new year we can see things from a more magical perspective to alleviate some of the pressure the economy has left us with. As people who thrive we can make something good come out of  our world. I know there are many who have projects or goals you want to start but get stuck and held back. Believe me..I know this from experience  being an artist. I used to say if I can touch the brush to the canvas I can get the flow going.Getting there was the hardest part.

What are some of the ideas and projects you have  inside you? One leads to another and they multiply like rabbits.

I knew a younger woman who was a single parent and a personal chef  for clients. There is woodworking, pet sitting, or assisting seniors like I do. I am amazed at some who have started a big business such as a cafe or restaurant the past year. Entrepreneurs usually see a downturn  in the economy as an opportunity to grow.

With the year 2010 we can envision a more magical perspective that our dharma is waiting. The wall at platform 9 3/4 will be easier to walk though if you know in your heart what your passion is. You will love what you do and become fearless in your efforts!

The doubters of the world are always there . However, when you do arrive at that platform, you can say “I did it”. The wall will come down with your presence and personal power.You took the steps needed to make a  dream come true.
