“Holding Hands With A Spirit”

While at a Law of Attraction meeting today I was talking with my friend Carrie of Diary of a Spiritual Medium and  she asked “what do you see when you meet people, do you see medical problems?” Although I do pick up insights about a persons health that is not always the first thing I see. I think it depends on the state of that persons health.  The things I do pick up and come to me easily are the relatives who have passed away. It seems like lately I have encountered friends talking about friends and family who have died. Within one week I heard several stories of people dying  and an elderly woman I knew passed away-she was 93. It only takes a few moments and I can hear the information these deceased want to relay to their relatives and friends.

The spirit world is always ready to talk to us.We are the ones who are skeptical and fearful. It seems so silly because now that I have had all these awakenings about those who have passed over into spirit, I know that they  want to help and enlighten us to how they see with love.

As I listen to these stories of those who have passed away,  often what comes next is a dream.It is a big responsibility I have been given to hear these people and see them. Sometimes I want to say to these spirits ” not now please-but I will get back with you later” because it can be hard to shut off these spirits who come to visit and who are around everyone…and I mean everyone.Right now you have 2 or 3 deceased relatives around you whether it is an uncle or grandmother or parent they are with you and I happen to pick it up pretty fast. Family has always been important to me and I think that is  why I pick them up more quickly.As I mentioned earlier, around New Years I heard stories of people passing away from a couple of friends and realized that this was something I will be encountering more of.At first I was feeling uncomfortable about hearing of those who died  because a couple of them were my age. It was hard to hear of their deaths, but I thought this was something I needed to get used to hearing.

Consequently, I dream’t about one of them. He was a friend of a friend and I knew him briefly 25 years ago while in college.He is from a well known family in the town I live in.Back then, we were free spirits and a little on the rebellious side. All these years later, I feel blessed to be alive and well while thanking god everyday for my life with my daughter.

The news affected me and I felt down for a few days.  When I dream’t of him I knew he was trying to relay a message to me. I won’t go into detail about the dream but I think he was more or less trying to apologize to me or give me an answer about why he acted the way he did many years ago.It was a relief to have the dream but a part of me  thought it doesn’t matter anymore because it was 25 years ago. However,  I do appreciate what he said in the dream because I know now these spirits don’t want us to live in fear, guilt, or shame. The deceased want to free us from all of our worldly fears.They want us to live.I do feel some kind of closure from the dream and perhaps I need to be more thankful for having him visit.  If you ask you may be able to dream of someone you know who passed away. I have a feeling in a few months you would be having visitors just like I do. Please try not to send them away.The spirit world is here for us to learn. They want to help us make our lives easier while we are here. We know that once you are in the spirit world all your worldly cares are gone and this is the message they want to share with us. Free your hearts and minds while you are here on earth.
